Wireless service is available at the Hart Area Public Library
allowing patrons and visitors to access the Internet with personal laptop
computers. With wireless technology at the HAPL students can
do homework, business professionals can access their offices
while on the road and travelers can keep in touch with home
via email. Laptop computers must conform to the 802.11b standard
and newer notebooks usually come standard with a wireless
interface that will be configured to automatically pick up
the signal in the library.
Select the type of user based on the extent of service. The HAPL reserves the right to limit the use of wireless access. Click on your 'HOME' icon to continue to your browser's home page.
- Unregistered Wireless Users have a two-hour time limit and a 750MB daily download limit. In addition, some services such as instant message programs may not be available.
- Registered Wireless Users are given extended access and up to a 3GB daily download limit.
