CULTURAL EVENTS

Hart Community Performing Arts Series (for full schedule):  The Arts Series will begin its 11th season in October and will once again bring fine artists from across the country to Oceana County.  The series is a community project of the Hart Public Schools and is supported by its many sponsors and patrons. That support has allowed the Hart Community Performing Arts Series to become one of the most successful series in Michigan and has allowed thousands of area students andto experience live performances of classical music, jazz, dance, and vocal music.  Everyone will find something to enjoy in this thoroughly entertaining blend of musical styles.

All performances are held at the Hart Middle School Auditoirum and begin at 7:30 PM with doors opening at 6:45 PM for season ticket holders. Season tickets are $35.00 and individual tickets at the door are $10.00.  Seating for tickets purchased the night of the performance will begin at 7:15 PM.

Oceana Folk Series (see full schedule):  The Oceana Folk Series enters its sixth season at the Hart Middle School Auditorium featuring fine performances of traditional and contemporary acoustic music. The first concert on January 16th will feature Detour, a bluegrass band from Northern Lower Michigan.  Detour combines contemporary bluegrass sounds along with great traditional favorites.  Individual tickets are $10 and series tickets for all three events are $30.  Performances begin at 7:30 PM.
